Confirmed from De Pere Riverwalk and Wildlife Viewing Pier's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about De Pere Riverwalk and Wildlife Viewing Pier
“Beautiful walkway, and by 1000's of locks hanging on the cables I would say it is a good place to make a suicide pack with your significant other”
“I bet when they ARENT doing construction on the event center, it's peaceful and semi quiet!”
Great place for a walk or for scenic viewing. This part of the park is right by the water which makes for some beautiful views. The park is very clean as well. It's really cool to see all the locks there are hundreds of them. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a cool park.
So beautiful. I love this place. You can walk around the river. You can fish here. Has benches to sit down. I'm so glad I found this. Has a park, too.
Fantastic trails very clean and the views as you walk continue to change as you walk further. The only bad thing on these trails is the bikes speed past you. Never slow down and people are scared and one was hit and the bike rider kept going. Slow down your speeds on bikes.
Great walk off of the Voyager Park, takes you over the lock, along an island, and out on an extension into the river just down from the falls.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
