Confirmed from Deborah Cooper Park on Adrian's Island's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Deborah Cooper Park on Adrian's Island
“Beautiful park with great views of the river, the bridge, the Capitol, the governor's mansion, the train station, and historic Jefferson landing.”

Romantic walk after dinner at Madison's, a five minute walk past the governor's mansion. It's just east of the capitol. Mosquitoes are a little bit of problem, and so far the bathrooms are not open yet. It is getting very popular with lots of walkers out at 8:30 p.m. Bike racks and rope hammocks.
Enjoyable stroll down in the river bottom. Nice paved path with displays along the way and a nice walkway over the railroad tracks to the Capitol.
This place is great to take a walk and relieve your anxiety and stress, it has a beautiful view to the Missouri River.
Beautiful river park walk with photogenic views of the capital and river and a few unique park features that all ages will like.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
