Confirmed from The Skywalk's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about The Skywalk
Interesting metal structure that allows access for pedestrians and bicyclists to cross the Jefferson City Bridge safely away from vehicle traffic. There are 3 levels to hike or ride. There's a parking lot, public restrooms, and a boat loading area.
Pretty large park and a few trails at the bottom of the skywalk. River access and a great view of the capital building across the way. Has some wonky (no doors) restrooms here and plenty of parking. The actual skywalk is cool, my dogs weren’t a fan of the way the bridge shakes and the cars.
It is a large “box” that allows you to walk or bike from the bridge deck to the Katy Trail (closer to river level). And from the trail to the bridge deck. Once at the bridge deck, you have a dedicated lane to cross the river into Jefferson City. The views from the bridge are outstanding!
Best bike ramp I came across while cycling 6000 miles through the US in 2016.
Trail conditions & character

“There's a parking lot, public restrooms, and a boat loading area.”
“There's convenient parking on both sides of the river and I really enjoyed seeing the "love locks" on the walkway fencing.”
