We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Deer Crossing Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Benches were in excellent condition, grounds were well kept.”

First time to Romeoville Fest the food was great the atmosphere was great the people was great. The music was also on point..just a wonderful Saturday!!!One thing for a woman that I can really compliment is the facilities they were excellent.

★★★★★ — Della , Aug 2017

This is a great park because of the forest, the trail and the large amount of land there is available for activities. If you like to play soccer, baseball, ride your bike or skateboard this is the place to come.

★★★★☆ — Miguel , Mar 2017

Great free concert by The Wayne Messmer Big Band & Combo on June 23rd. This is a nice open air amphitheater behind the town hall. Plenty of family oriented activities, and playgrounds for the children. O'Hara nature preserve is right there for a walk in the woods too!

★★★★★ — Stephen , Jun 2019

Has more seating than I remember and there are nice walking paths and a playground.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 2 mentions

“Only negative was the long lines for women's restrooms.”
