Confirmed from Deer Jump Reservation - A.V.I.S' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering a riverside path that's suitable for hiking, biking, and walking.
What runners say about Deer Jump Reservation - A.V.I.S
“The only hard part is worrying about bugs when the grass gets a little high in some areas :) but it is well maintained.”
“There is a small parking area at the end of the road, and a small sign posted to a tree so you know you're in the right location :) It really is scenic and Beautiful.”
Deer Jump Reservation is located in Andover ma, the starting point. The adress the maps gives you bringing you to Furnari Farm dr is not accurate as they built new homes on that street which probably blocked any pathway. Not sure. The correct st its Brudette ave. Right off river st.
Easy hike, mostly flat. Well maintained. Beautiful views of merrimack river from andovers side. There is a short paved road that goes down to fish rook. However it's a decent size hill with one section that has a steeper grade making this more difficult to use for handicapped.
Parts of this trail can be difficult! Steep inclines . All along the Merrimack river The AVIS trails are maintained. The bridges are well built . This little muppet made it!
Beautiful trail system and meadows! I grew up here and the trails have come a long way. Informational signs are great and there is a nice picnic area and parking. Highly recommend!

“Good for dogs though some folks continue to let their dogs off leash despite ample signage.”
