This is my favorite trail in the Christiansburg area. There are other nice ones nearby, but I always find myself coming back to this one. It's a nice, paved walking trail but there's no shortage of nature. If you're looking for a nice walk without having to constantly watch your step, this place won't disappoint.
Very nice trail. First visit but only stayed short time but hopefully revisit and want to see a change of nature
Fun little 1.5 mile out-and-back trail that passes by fields, forest, and Toms Creek. There a small resting area next to the creek and lots of benches along the way. For her Eagle project, my daughter added nature signs to help identify trees, plants, and birds common to the region and trail.
This trail is wide and mostly flat though often parts are muddy. Good access to the creek in one place if your dog wants a swim. All the interesting signage is gone though the posts remain, giving it an uncared for look. The adjacent forest is brushy and a good place for birds. No facilities
