Confirmed from DeHart Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park hosting a playground, fitness equipment and sports courts.
What runners say about DeHart Park
“He needed to use the bathroom and I was weary at first because I hate public restrooms but to my surprise the facilities were very clean.”
“My only problem is occasionally a dog owner will walk their dog without the leash.”
This is a great little neighborhood park! I’m not sure if it’s a place I would go out of my way to get to, but for me and everyone in my neighborhood it’s a really nice place.
I like this park. It has a playground for children, has a basketball court for teens & adults, a soccer field, a tennis court, and some exercise equipment for working out as well a path for walking or jogging. My only problem is occasionally a dog owner will walk their dog without the leash.
The park is beautiful, clean & well kept for the most part. The tennis & basketball courts were recently redone & upgraded. So was the children’s play area. Always people there running or walking the path. Lots of dog walking too. Great place to meet your neighbors.
It's very quiet you can walk past it without even seeing it. They do have parking but it's very limited. You can enter and exit the park from two different roads which makes it very convenient especially if you're a local and can get to the park from two separate locations.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
