Confirmed from Del Norte Dog Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular park featuring basketball courts, a playground and 3 fenced areas for large dogs, small ones, and both to run free.
What runners say about Del Norte Dog Park
“Also the only place for people to sit or tha has any kind of shade is in the middle one.”
Nice big and open park with three separate dog areas, all have fun agility play equipment in them. Cons: only the middle area has water available for dogs to drink, but it hasn't been working in the month we've been going. Also the only place for people to sit or tha has any kind of shade is in the middle one.
Starting off The google directions to this park are incorrect. this is part of the del Norte park complex , you must enter threw the parks entrance on North Grimes not broom Dr.. Broom is a residential road not connected to park .
I love this dog park, and so do my dogs! It's so spacey and has 3 sections. The little agility runs are fun too. It is well maintained, but owners don't pick up after their dogs and you have to watch where you step.
Nice dog park with 3 separate grassy areas. One for small, medium and large dogs. Shaded area for sitting, water fountain for your dogs to drink out of. Really nice place.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
