Confirmed from Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park Trail - Kingston's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with walking and biking trails and wildlife, plus a museum with canal photos.
What runners say about Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park Trail - Kingston
“One of the most scenic locations on the D&R Canal Trail.”
Historic site with great trails, pathways, and waterways. There is evidence of very old settlements by stones in the ground that served a foundations for homes and excellent stone walls that line the waterways. Geese, deer, turtles, huge spiders and snakes were out.
Was a beautiful walk and great experience hiking. the history is very interesting and well explained though out the park. Incredible scenery and a good walk as long as it hasn't rained. Came here in the fall and was absolutely mind blowing. would come here again!
This is a beautiful section of the trail. Parking there can be a bit crowded though.
I passed thru here on my walk from from Millstone Aqueduct to Rocky Hill on 01/22/2021. There are a lot of parking spaces here. And there’s a park office, a lock, lock tender’s house, a pedestrian tunnel and many wildlife.
