Confirmed from Delnor Woods Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Dog-friendly memorial garden featuring a dog statue, a playground and a waterfall.

A great place to take a nice long walk to destress and enjoy the scenery. The grounds are well kept and the entire park is clean from debris. I really love the dog memorial with the tags and collars in remembrance of those who have gone over the rainbow bridge or who have been lost.
Very nice wooded area with pockets of open space. The walking path is short, however it extends into a quiet neighborhood. The playground has 3 slides and 6 swings with 3 suitable for older individuals. There is a public restroom and water fountain that has a dog option. Nice covered picnic area as well.
Time to take a little break from busy day. So beautiful here great place for walking trails, biking, or a little picnic😀 this is where you find the biggest White Oak tree ever 🥰 did you know they have a dog memorial tag? see the timeless tags sign pretty cool.
Beautiful little spot just east of the Fox River. Loads of Gambusia affinis in all the little pools and streams near the pond. Will definitely visit again for a stroll on the paths!

“66 mile loop past a lovely picturesque dam, around mowed areas, thru a forested part, and into a residential area if you go off the loop and onto that route.”

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
