Confirmed from Dennis P. Collins Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular waterfront park with a playground and basketball courts.
What runners say about Dennis P. Collins Park
“Besides that minor inconvenience, it's a well-maintained park (even during late-winter) and the people, dogs, and geese you'll meet are mostly friendly.”
“Great dog park with 2 separate sections (for small breeds and another for mid size to large pooches) and beautiful views of the Bayonne Bridge connecting Jersey and Staten Island.”
“Awesome park I am glad they built this the area is very peaceful and quiet.”
Beautiful park. Lots of amenities for families. The dog park is well maintained. There’s exercise equipment and paths for walkers and joggers. Usually pretty clean overall with exceptions post rain events. It can get muddy and pathways may remain impassable for several days afterwards.
Great place to walk/sit/relax.. one of the best dog parks I've seen with several obstacles for your furry friend to play with... saw a lot of pets hanging out there with their owners during the last visit.. there's a childrens play area as well and a basketball court if I remember correctly..
Bayonne Parks Department is the best. They keep our parks beautiful. And they are used all day. Walkers Joggers Fisherman Sports Dog Parks. Excellent
Awesome park I am glad they built this the area is very peaceful and quiet. The great people that go are great and it almost a community not to mention it is very very clean. The location is easy to get to and it has a great view as well. My only gripe would be that I wish it had more shade for the dogs.
