We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Depot Rail Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Depot Rail Trail
This little trail is fabulous. It is about 1.5 miles to the gorgeous pond that is full of local wildlife and a popular habitat for frogs and migrating birds. There are many benches along the flower lined trail as well as garbage bins and dog waste bags and receptacles for the waste.
Very great but the bugs will follow you at some times! It's flat and wide enough so that it's somewhat easy to run in the winter when it's wet and snowy.
