Confirmed from Desert Mountain Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This 29-acre park features 2 playgrounds, sports fields, sand volleyball courts & an amphitheater.
What runners say about Desert Mountain Park
“Restrooms are clean and the concession stand is great to have.”
“There's a desert wash for horses, incredibly beautiful trees and tunnels.”
The trails are just beautiful right now! Lots of blooming cactus and not too busy for a Saturday morning!
Love this park, it's always quiet. The best part about it is the walking/bike trail right behind it. There's a desert wash for horses, incredibly beautiful trees and tunnels. For my kids, it's a boy's dream to go out, explore and play in the dirt.
With plenty of space for kids to run, jump, picnic and play on equipment, Desert Mountain Park is a great place to bring your kids.
I visit this park once a year when I take photos for the annual Walk to Support SWAT Rescue. Each time I go I always notice what a great park this is and how much it offers to the community.
