Confirmed from Diamond Point Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space on Lake Bemidji with picnic areas & walking paths, plus a playground & boat launch.
What runners say about Diamond Point Park
“Well kept up and great place for a variety of uses (bbq, picnic, swimming, reading, etc.”
“Beautiful park that has been quiet every time I've gone.”
“A nice and peaceful place to spend time with family and friends.”
Nice park to go and spend some quiet time at during the week. Not sure how it is on weekends, but it's wonderful to take a walk or sit on the beach. Parking is limited, however, so if it's busy, you may find yourself having to park on the street (unless that is occupied by college vehicles).
Love this park! Love to swim! Love to climb! Lots of space to move around in. Many great paths to follow. Enjoy. They have port-a-potties now! 7/13/2020
Great spot for a picnic or a swim. Nice beach, tables, pavilions, dock, and rental shop. They have a boat ramp but the downside is they don't have any trailer parking so be ready for a walk if you want to put in there.
This is the perfect place for a walk with your dog or a friend. It is beautiful during all seasons. Picnic tables available, waste receptacles, paved walking path, pavilion, playground, etc. Thank you City of Bemidji for making this public park and keeping it looking wonderful.
Trail conditions & character
“Ample parking, restrooms (did not use so can't comment), good playgrounds, and right on the lake-it even has a little, groomed beach, although there is no lifeguard.”

“I have a dog reactive paralyzed yorkipoo and there is enough room on the walkways for us to comfortably walk without getting into a scuffle.”

- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
