Confirmed from DNRT Ridge Hill Reserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

One of my favorite trails to walk. It's beautiful and peaceful but not made for bikes. Lots of roots and rocks so if that's an issue, you shouldn't walk this trail.

We’ve explored many of the reserves around and they’re all a great walk, clearly marked trails and good maintenance. I took the red trail. The most notable thing about this particular reserve is the trails are a bit more challenging than most others because of the roots and some rock piles but it’s a nice change of…

Different trails to take. Plenty of land to cover. Trails were well maintained for the most part. Took my dog and he enjoyed it. Small parking lot available.

Amazing morning hike today, we had a couple does (deer) greet us on the path on the way out. My 2 year old was beyond excited to see a wild deer he wanted to see more 🤣 I told him it doesn’t work like that. We enjoyed the story walk they had at this hike. On top of all that there are a few paths we could choose from.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
