Confirmed from Donaldson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Very clean for the most part although restrooms could use a little work.”

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

“There is a beach where you can swim, benches, shaded picnic tables, trees, a sidewalk, and a playground.”

Cute little park in the area. I love the events they have here too. I went to a Blueberry and Bluegrass festival they had here and loved it. I enjoy going for walks around the lake and even sit and have ice cream every once in a while. Fun for the family to simply get out and enjoy the area.

Donaldson Park sits on the perfectly round, Lake Verona! This park is maintained very well. Nice beach, playground equipment, basketball court, picnic areas, boat launch ( In my opinion, the launch is more for canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, and other small craft style boats.

Awesome vendors and some great yummy treats to come home with! Entertainment was very good! It only runs until 4 today but if you plan to go next year, be sure to bring a chair and ENJOY the day!!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 7 mentions

“I can think of is that the bathrooms are occasionally locked and there's no showers to rinse off from the lake water.”
