Confirmed from Dooley Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Quiet patch featuring long walking paths, plus a playground and a pavilion.
What runners say about Dooley Trail
“Nice park a little run down but still quiet and nice long walking path”
“Love this trail to take my dogs on walks one loves the snow so he just plows through the high stuff while the little one stays on the trail with me”
Very peaceful trail that’s suitable for all ages. I would say it’s about less then a mile long.
Perfect local loop to walk, ride a bike, or roller skate and enjoy the weather. Dog friendly.
Nice trail for biking or walking. Could use better playground equipment
Beautiful park, lovely paved trail, lots of space for dogs, pavilion and grilling areas with play ground equipment for small kids. Tall, gorgeous oak, elm and maple trees shade a nice area for a pictures or a picnic.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
