Confirmed from Veterans Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean park with a playground, basketball courts and barbecue facilities.
What runners say about Veterans Memorial Park
“for the community it's very well kept up and clean.”
Well manicured. Great bike/walk path. Nice activity area for children. No net basketball court. Ball diamond. Horseshoe pit(need to bring your own or reserve time with Rec Center). Pavilion and Gazebo open unless reserved for private use.
Very nice pavement trail to walk. Dog Friendly. Children Playscape, public bathroomand pavillion. Nice place to sir and break for lunc. Sub & Pizzariz, liquor and lotto store across the street from park. Very quiet & relacing.
I used to take my grandchildren here to play. They used to call it frog park because some of the equipment looks like frogs. They used to have a bathroom, but there's only an outhouse now. I believe on the outside of the fence. They have music in the park and fireworks. Occasionally a bandstand for summertime.
Great park, of course the neborhod punks and bums like it too but overall it's a great place. I love when the city dose the fireworks and fair it is awesome .for the community it's very well kept up and clean. Great safe place to take walks and ride bikes.

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
