Confirmed from Dorr Run-Sycamore Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
National forest offering color-coded and well-maintained trails suitable for all-day riding.
What runners say about Dorr Run-Sycamore Trailhead
“Wayne National Forrest is a great place to ride, great trails, well maintained and safe.”
Well actually we was raised around this area my dad and my mom both and my wife they all lived in the same house at different times this. used to be a company town and part of the coal mines the bathhouse and all down through there and my grandma. Lived in a roundhouse they're all gone now.
Dorr Run-Sycamore Trailhead is a great trailhead for accessing the Wayne National Forest OHV Trails system. This is probably the easiest trailhead to access from Rt. 33. There is plenty of parking for riders and some campers.
Easy access to the trail, minutes from the main road. Not to busy, No loading ramp but we bring our own anyways! ✌️
These trails and accessible and well-maintained. The trails are color-coded and very well marked, based on name and color. There are a few places in which the trail is very, very narrow, so I would recommend riders are careful and extra cautious about oncoming traffic.
