Confirmed from Double Oak Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Well-groomed trails for mountain biking and hiking through woodland, plus a pavilion for picnics.
What runners say about Double Oak Park
“The trails are clean, the scenic views were great and we all just had a wonderful time.”
“I took a scenic detour route and discovered trails along the ridge where the fires broke out last year.”
Beautiful hiking trails with lots of rock outcroppings at the lookout points. The pavilion and bathroom facilities are new and clean with good parking. Beautiful outdoors here. It will certainly take more than one trip to see it all so we will be back again!
Great Trails! The single track trails are well maintained and great for hiking, running, or biking. Most of the large rocks have been removed from the path and the trek is surprisingly smooth. The incline is not too steep until you get near the top of the mountain. The switch backs keep the inclines manageable.
Trails range from easy to challenging and all have nice views, even the lower elevation trails! Trails are well marked and offer many nice vistas. Elevation at pavilion is at 700 and along the crest elevation is over 1300 feet. Lots of boulders also, especially at the top which has enormous boulders and awesome views!
This is a very nice amenity to have nearby. The park is in a beautiful location and the trails are clear and easy to traverse on foot. The trails are so long that I haven't come close to exploring the whole park. There's plenty of parking in addition to restrooms (apparently a shower) and some covered picnic tables.

“Great, concrete pad pavilion with 8 Pic-Nic tables, plenty of space to set up Corn Hole, two restrooms, one with a shower, ample gravel parking, just a great little gem of a park!”
