Confirmed from Doug Phillips Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park with tennis and basketball courts, a playground, and a picnic area, plus a members-only dog run.
What runners say about Doug Phillips Park
“Great park in Fishkill , Very well maintained and also they check for proofs of vacination before you can get in .”
We've been coming to this park now for a few months and so far have good things to say. The park is very large and there's a covered area for owners to sit in some shade. The dog owners we've met have been very cool and the dogs are, for the most part, friendly and healthy.
I’ve only been to this dog park a handful of times so far since I’ve gotten the permit for it, and I love it! There’s never many dogs there whenever I go, which sometimes is nice but other times is boring for my little guy.
Fantastic Park to bring younger children to there’s a gated playground area, which is perfect for two-year-olds running rampant and having a ball ! There’s swings, slides rides, and a couple other cool things that I’ve never seen at a playground, like a gigantic xylophone; no joke
Cute interactive park with a average play ground right across and if you go a little past that you will find the hidden gem for the kids. A little creek for them to walk in when it hasn't down poured
Trail conditions & character
“Used to just have a nice dog park and lake area but the tennis courts and basketball courts were abandoned to the point they were unusable.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadwater — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
