We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Douglas Trail, North End yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Douglas Trail, North End
“Awesome peaceful great chance to see deer”
This is a great place to take in what God has created for us. It’s so peaceful and serene. Twenty mile creek runs below the walking bridge. I like to come here and count the birds and gar swimming the creek. There’s a lookout with benches to see over the pond and a bridge (signs posted no swim or fishing)
We like bird watching. And just get outside. This is a great walking track.
I remember walking down the train tracks with my cousin to go shopping in town. Usually just to the TG&Y. Another time with my momma to get my hair cut.
