We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Wheeler Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Pine-shaded park featuring a baseball field, tennis courts, play equipment & a picnic shelter.
What runners say about Wheeler Park
“I really love that the bathrooms are now open and available and clean!”
Always shady and very well kept and clean facility. The park is very large and plenty or room to play, run, walk the track, play baseball or tennis. Also very scenic!
My dog Buddy and I have been 4 times in the last month. So far we love it. They have paved walking circles around the entirety of the park with multiple walkoffs for a change of pace.
very nice park. peaceful for walks, dates, or even sitting to ease your mind
Good playground for the kids. More maintenance work needs to be done here and there, like disc golf equipment maintenance, and picnic tables need benches here and there. I think the caterpillar playset is missing its eyeballs but it still functions so that's no big deal.
