We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Downey Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with basketball courts, a playground, and picnic tables, as well as a baseball field.
What runners say about Downey Park
Lots of shaded trees, walking trails exercise equipment and lots of fun things to do
Nice clean park. Could add couple more benches and trees for shade. But good overall. Nice walking path. Basketball courts, tennis courts and to our surprise a spray pad! There is a covered picnic table shelter area which comes in handy on hot days.
Downey park is great. Baseball fields, basketball courts, a joggers/walkers path & a Field house.
