It doesn't matter what time of the year it is, I will always visit Veterans Memorial. If you have kids it's perfect for them. If you just like peace and quiet with a nice walking trail, this is your place.
Awesome park. Quiet place and very safe for all ages. Swings for kids. Gazebo for adults. Enclosed bbq area with lots of bench/tables. Massive walking area. Baseball park and soccer pitch. Wildlife areas and lots of trees for shade. Well worth a visit.
This is a gem well hidden in South Holland. If you ever get a chance please do the fun run
Veterans Park is the biggest and best park in South Holland! It's multifaceted for all ages. Babies and toddlers have a play area all to themselves with swings, slides, teeter-totters, and more. Then, there's the play area for kids with multiple slides, a climbing wall, a climbing web, and swings.
