We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Downing Road Lot 3 Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Downing Road Lot 3 Trailhead
This is one of the best hikes i experienced in bay area. This is like a hidden awesome hiking trail. The downing lake is one of the best place for enjoying with family without external disturbances ( NO MOBILE SIGNALS :) ) , This is near to Paragliding area and it is giving a really nice view.
Lots of parking. This part of the park is super scenic with the lake and mountains in the backdrop. Perfect place for family friendly activities. The hang gliders are fascinating to watch. Cows graze everywhere and the hike was excellent. Can't wait to return in late winter and spring!
Well, i had a long hiking day over there. I like it when I made it to the top of the mountain and see those electrical machines.
