Confirmed from Monument Peak Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

A beautiful hike up to the summit of Monument Peak. During this hike you can watch soaring hang gliders, stunning views of the valley and the Bay Area, beautiful greenery around and cattles.
Took monument peak trail from agua trail and this is a beautiful trail with such a good hike. Would definitely recommend visiting this trail.
Really nice hike, steep at parts and also minimal shade. LONG PANTS RECOMMENDED: If you want to do a full loop, you will have some parts where you are pushing back brush. Dog friendly and great views at the top - bring your own water! ☀️
Best place to hike. It is slightly harder and need to hike up hills way. If you are regular hiker, it is the best place. Another good point is you can refresh you eye from up hills to down and vice-versa.
