Confirmed from Dreher Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Dreher Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (265 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“But over all, it is well maintained and inviting compared to other parks around the area.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“This is one big park in West Palm Beach with beautiful trees, open spaces, ponds, covered picnic area, outdoor grill, great water fountain at entrance.”

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

“The shade is tremendous, it has a dog park with lots of shade, pavilions and an exercise part.”

This is a great park for family gatherings! Only issue is lately the dog walkers have been allowing dogs to poop on the sidewalk. There is a designated area for walking your dog. If you can clean it, don't take your dog there and respect others around you.

Lovely place to walk dogs and see a slice of nature in the city. Lots of birds, turtles, and banyan trees.i do wish there were more trees being planted to provide more shade and peace. But over all, it is well maintained and inviting compared to other parks around the area.

Really nice park off of 95. Has dog parks and wide walking trails. There’s bathrooms and dog water bowls. Never very packed. Multiple parking lots. Areas for parties and bbqs.

★★★★★ — Meme , Jun 2024

A pleasant spot with over 3 paved trail miles for running walking. Diverse birds offer emotional support.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
