Confirmed from Drummer Boy Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Located on a beautiful and historic route 6A (extends almost the entire cape) its well worth an outting for picnics or a nice walk.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Lovely history mixed with walking paths - beautiful view of the marsh, and a well leveled playground for all ages.”

Drummer Boy Park is a nice space with parking, a paved walking path and lovely windmill surrounded by other buildings. There are picnic tables and portable potties. It is also a good area to park if going on the Wing Trail just a quick walk down the same side of 6A.

We love coming to this little park. It’s a great place to walk the dog or have a picnic. There’s always little art fairs and festivals through out the summer. It’s also a wonderful spot to find some shade on hot and humid days and simply relax. Check out the blacksmith shop, windmill, etc.

This is a lovely park with open spaces and plenty of picnic tables. A great place to walk a small dog on a leash. The trails in the woods are fun! It’s also a good place to play PokémonGo

Driving down 6a we noticed the sign for a park and made a u turn to check it out. There is a good sized parking lot and two porta potties. Attached to this park is Windmill Village making this an even better place to visit.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
