We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Duck Pond Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Duck Pond Trail
Beautiful trail. Good mix of sun and shade. 5 star trail and area, but minus 1 star because I've been there twice and have yet to see a single duck Watch out for chiggers though. Those things get 0 stars
So glad to have the Duck Pond trail at Cedar Hill State Park back open! It's been reopened for a few months and is already a family favorite. We had a wonderful time hiking the trail with our grandson, Chance. It’s a fantastic trail for a multi-generational walk or a bike ride. The path is lovely and well-kept.
I loved this place. It was a nice walk. Not as crowded as the other trails. also has a nice little pound.
The hike was short and easy! The pond is easy to find and there’s choices to go into different areas.
