Confirmed from Duke Energy Bike Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Duke Energy Bike Trail
I ride a TerraTrike E.V.O. and this was my first ride on the trail. I loved being on a trail that can take me beyond my Oldsmar neighborhood of trails. I will be returning. I don't remember seeing accessible restrooms, but I didn't need one.
Accommodating for all ages and families, nice surroundings, great for walking. Nice scenery.
Most of the trail is smooth and wide. Some parts are long enough, without breaks for crossroads, so you can really lock into a good rhythm while biking or running. It does change up as it goes through neighborhoods, but it gives a change of scenery and offers variations to your workout.
It's a great trail, nice and flat for an easy ride... only wish there were more water fountains along the way

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
