Confirmed from Duke Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Duke Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (534 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

“Park is very clean, shelters are also large nice as well- great place for our family reunion, we will be booking there again from now on!”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Whether I'm walking, biking, or playing some basketball, you can do it all at this beautiful park!”

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

“It could be better if there is more shade.”

I was here for a truck line in my brother's memory. There were several parking lots, multiple playgrounds on sight and a few fields with teams playing a game. (Baseball or softball?) It was clean, well kept, and I saw a few people walking their pup.

Not much shade for the park area. Great walking path and fields are well maintained for sporting events. The dog park is decently sized!

★★★★☆ — Takeshi , Jul 2024

Dog park has some excellent shade trees! A bench in the shade trees also. Clean grassy area.

Typically, I'll go here with my Siberian husky for the dog park. The park is pretty wide and open, lots of space for the dogs to run around and play with one another. Lots of friendly handlers bring their dogs here as well, so that's a plus to the whole experience. The walking/bike path is nice as well.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 11 mentions

“Nice place with soccer and baseball fields, mountain bike trails, pickleball courts and even a dog park.”
