Confirmed from Miami Recreation Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area with a kid-friendly path and a bike trail.
What runners say about Miami Recreation Trails
Entrance/Parking off of SR 202. Paved, flat trails connecting you to downtown Troy and the Miami River Trail/Bikeway.
The Great Miami Recreational Trail is my absolute favorite trail system in the Greater Dayton Area. From riverbank hikes to rolling farmhill frolicks to wooded walks to suburban strolls, this trail system has it all!
Very nice trail for families. Well kept paths and even. Nice greenery on any path you take. Great place to run also. Plus the fall festival they have is great!
I have been on this trail several times. One of my favorite sections is between Troy and Piqua. Beautiful path and is shaded for a lot of it.
