Confirmed from Duncan Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This 110-acre public recreation spot has a skate park, football field, a roomy playground & more.
What runners say about Duncan Creek Park
“Everyone really enjoyed themselves and all the kids enjoyed the clean playground.”
“Super family friendly, plenty of bowls for skaters, scooters, bikes, and much more.”
Duncan Creek Park is very large, and has many amenities to choose from. When you drive in the park if you take the first right once in the park, you will be at the large playground. The playground has a large pavilion with grill for rent. Very spacious! Plenty of benches for parents and kids to sit on.
An expansive park next to the county training academy. It has all of the amenities including sports, walking, and open fields. Parking is easy and plentiful. Bathrooms are well taken care of. Worth exploring!
Duncan's Creek Park is my favorite park because it is kid friendly and has please of seating and walking trails for parents. There is a covered picnic area with plenty of space for several bday parties or picnics. The bathrooms are clean and close to the play area.
Trail conditions & character

“The next entrance has four lighted basketball courts and three lighted sand volleyball courts.”
“Playground with handicap-accessible features!”
“Wish they didn't turn off the water in the water fountains in the winter.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
