Confirmed from Dutchman Dog Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Dutchman Dog Park
“This new dog park is close to home, there are always friendly pets and people, and it's nice and clean with plenty of grass for the dogs to play.”
This is undoubtedly one of the best dog parks! Gigantic large dog side with picnic tables and benches for owners and toys and water bowls for pets. athe small dog and senior dog side was much smaller but offered rocky paths surrounded by vegetation for your pet to explore in.
I’ve been coming to this dog park since it first opened and have consistently had positive experiences. It’s well maintained and a great space for dogs to run. There’s also a separate gated area that can be reserved for private use, which is a nice feature.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
