Confirmed from Eagan Central Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This neighborhood resource for sports, play & fitness features a rec center & walking trails.
What runners say about Eagan Central Park
“The park is well maintained and the festivities fit well in the space.”
“Beautiful scenery and plenty of places to sit down and enjoy the views.”
What an amazing huge park! The playground has both traditional and natural structures and there is an adult workout space right by the playground so grownups can exercise while kids play. Lots of trails and green space and a small amphitheater. It was so clean too!
This is a beautiful park! We went on a whim while visiting Eagan as it looked like the trails were accessible. I was able to wheel around and enjoy nature. It's a very large park that we'll go back to as we only went down one trail.
Splash pad is always fun. All the things work. Shade to sit in. Clean bathrooms. A nice playground right next to it. Walking path is wonderful. Even better for running with small hills. Beautiful gazebo to sit in. The summer markets are always fun, but parking fills up fast.
The splash pad is perfect for people who are sensitive to cold water. The water is not cold at all! It’s a nice clean community area. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom are really nice, however, they do not have showers for people who just got done with the splash pad.

“I did see a long hill that was definitely too steep (for me) had I chosen to go straight after the bridge vs doing the loop.”
“Lots of parking, and indoor restrooms right next to the splash pad.”
