Confirmed from Eagle Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Wonderful park! My favorite park in the Largo area. Plenty of room for outdoor activities. Beautiful, natural lake with lots of Turtles! Very nice, paved path circling entire park. Pathway is perfect for walking, running or biking. Several shelters available for picnics or gatherings.

This is a great park for the family. There are many areas to enjoy including pavilions, piers, benches, paved trails, unpaved trails, and more. We saw lots of different types of birds, fish, turtles, squirrels. There is a decent playground and several bathrooms around the park.

I hesitate to leave a great review because this park is so under crowded when I’m there. lol. It’s a wonderful, quiet place to go to. There’s three places To let your dogs run at the dog park and plenty of places to bike or run.

We love that Pinellas County has so many amazing parks and Eagle lake is one of them! Eagle lake has a lot to offer. Walking trails, playground, dog park, lake, picnic shelters and bathrooms. They have paved and gravel trails to walk on, you can choose which way to go.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 19 mentions

“A dog park has separate areas for dogs under 20 pounds and one for larger dogs, with 2 dog entry access and mostly shaded.”
