Confirmed from Eagle Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Compact park where kids can learn to ride, plus a rock climb and a free bookstore.
What runners say about Eagle Park
“Eagle Park is a spacious and well-kept park ideal for outdoor activities and family outings.”
“The park’s natural setting with trees and open fields provides a peaceful environment for relaxation and exercise.”
This is a no frills park! I think that's what makes it great. Just a nice peaceful walking trail, awesome telephone booth, and great rock climbing for kids here. I think this park plays into the tranquility and beauty of the scenary in the area very well.
1.8 mile Greenway, 3.6 start to finish from main parking lot. Best time to visit around noon. Evening walks get really dark and end up blinded by traffic. Sunset was pretty, and we did see two trains go by. Very nice!
This is a great small neighborhood park. It is good for little ones learning how to ride bikes or scooters. It has a miniature road with double yellow lines and a Stop Sign for the kids to ride on. It is also on a short walking path. I would like to see the walking path extended.
My son (he is two) loves to stop and play here. It's really a nice little spot, and we have a lot of fun whenever we go. It's great if you have a kid that loves trains - the tracks run along side, and the Music City Star trains and a few others come through frequently. That's my son's favorite thing about playing here.
