Confirmed from Earl Township Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hilltop park with playgrounds, disc golf and walking trails, plus picnic facilities.
What runners say about Earl Township Park
“Feels safe, it's clean I don't have any complaints other than leaving with a bad back when leaving 😆 beautiful park.”
“Feels safe, it's clean I don't have any complaints other than leaving with a bad back when leaving 😆 beautiful park.”
“Also love that it is mostly in the shade so stays a little cooler throughout the summer.”
“It's such a well kept and family friendly peaceful setting.”
Beautiful, well maintained park. Walking trails offer gorgeous views of the agricultural landscape and interior forest. Be aware that these trails are hilly. If you're looking for trails that will make you huff & puff, these are the trails for you. They're paved the whole way through and easy on the knees.
Great park! There are 3 pavilions, 2 playgrounds, walking trails, frisbee golf course, and baseball fields. The walking trails are VERY steep. Gets your heart pumping! You can rent the pavilions for a fee. Very clean park with great views. The frisbee golf course could use some maintenance.
I am not sure why many of these reviews say there are no dogs allowed. That is inaccurate. What may be confusing is that if you park in the wrong lot, there are signs that no dogs are allowed because they aren't allowed anywhere except the walking trails. This is a great place to get good exercise!
I've recently been going here after walking at several other parks and needed a more challenging walk...and it is a lot more challenging. A lot of hills with one being about 1/4 mile alone. Others are shorter (from 30 to 60 yards maybe?) and vary in grade/steepness.
