Confirmed from East Bay Bike Path's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This 14.5-mi. paved cycling, walking & jogging trail stretches from India Point Park to Bristol.
What runners say about East Bay Bike Path
“The East Bay Bike Path is a beautiful, newly paved bike path that starts in Providence and ends in Bristol Rhode island.”
“The trail goes for miles, and I didn’t notice any shady business along it.”
What a great bike and walk path. Lots to discover, landmarks, lighthouses, beaches. I spotted an heron, ducks, Canadian geese, lots of seagulls and a Red Robin and a blue jay fighting. I tried to catch it on video but no use. It was busy not too busy for a Tuesday early afternoon.
Wow this is an amazing bike path. Great place to walk, has awesome views of the water, and Downtown Providence. Also noticed some old railroads along the way! Highly recommend. 🚴♂️
Would recommend this path to anyone. You can start at any point along the way depending on how difficult you’d like it to be. The beginning entrance at India Point park is a little difficult to find with the google maps directions. The middle stretch is very easy, minimal hills and turns; just great views.
Beautiful place for walking! Scenery is great. Always a nice breeze..... @fotokatt on FB

“A few parks you can stop at along the way which come in handy when you need a bathroom break as there are no porta potties on this trail which surprised me.”
