It was as neat to see this area and see Peoria from across the river and walk the trail. The memorial bench in my one photo is for Gary Richrath.
I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express nearby and needed to find a walking trail nearby. This one was the closest and literally started from the parking lot of my hotel. Not a super long trail, but it gets the job done for getting some exercise while on the road for work.
I loved the walk along the river. The sculptures were interesting. The area was clean and there are benches you can rest on along the way.
