Confirmed from Cooper Park North's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking-focused space with a playground and a picnic area, plus views of the river.
What runners say about Cooper Park North
“The trail itself is not that long, but is scenic with many flowers blooming and an elevated walkway over the swampy/boggy areas, which are quite long.”
Stayed at a hotel nearby and needed a place to run in the morning. Looked promising on Alltrails. The trail is mostly dirt/gravel and under the e canopy. Parts of it are on a boardwalk- it’s higher above the swampy parts. It’s about 2 miles up to a marina and back. I’d recommend it.
We love taking walks here! Great place to let kids be kids and enjoy nature.
The trail itself is not that long, but is scenic with many flowers blooming and an elevated walkway over the swampy/boggy areas, which are quite long. The river is at one side, but the noise from the highway and industry to the other side is distracting. I'll take what I can get and enjoy it.
This park is the coolest the board walk and close river/marsh views almost remind me of florida.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
