Confirmed from East Rumbrook Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Dog-friendly destination featuring separate fenced areas for big and small dogs, plus a ball field and tennis courts.
What runners say about East Rumbrook Park
“It is always up kept well and there are plenty of seating areas for owners to sit and shade for the dogs.”
“There is a wonderful path near the dog park that many dog owners use to walk their dogs.”
This is a great park for many reasons. The fields, the basketball courts, the tennis and the dog park. There is a wonderful path near the dog park that many dog owners use to walk their dogs. There is also a stream that the dogs can play in.
Amazing dog park! Huge.. Also has a really nice trail nearby that goes up to the Rum Brook river
I was initially confused as I had seen the pictures of dogs in the stream but the actual dog run area has no access to the streams. A local then pointed out the access to the streams are outside the park a few hundred yards down the trail.
The ground is always wet which is my only gripe. Otherwise this park is better than the others I've seen. The dogs are generally well behaved. There is some psycho hanging around hurting dogs under the guise of training them and his only argument is "I've been a trainer for 54 years!".

“Makes for a good and friendly environment for dogs to play at their level.”
“There's a doggy water fountain that's open most seasons, and an on-leash walling trail that goes behind the park itself.”
