Confirmed from Eastern Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular area with off-road and on-road sections for running, walking, and biking, plus birding.

Very nice, easy trail that takes you right through the beautiful Scarborough Marsh. If you're into birding, this is no doubt one of the best Maine birding experiences!
A lovely walking trail! Always so much wildlife and flowers to see! Great for biking too. We always see people with high definition camera lenses taking photos and makes me wish I had one too. Low tide or high tide you see paddle boarders and kayakers. A few benches along the way to take a rest too.
Simply beautiful! It is a flat, popular trail and it well maintained. We really enjoyed the sunset and the after sun glow. Highly recommended for the easy views and the colors.
Great spot to get a walk, run or bike in. Well-kept trail, with lots of opportunities to bird watch. Highly recommend!
