We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Eau Claire River Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Eau Claire River Trailhead
“This trail is a beautiful short walk in the woods along a river.”
We have finally gotten to see this trail in all its lush glory! It is a very nice, easy trail through a beautiful area. There were several other people on the trail, and quite a few playing in the water, but it was not overcrowded. There's not a lot of parking here, however we did not have trouble getting a spot.
This trail is a beautiful short walk in the woods along a river. If you need a break from the monotonous scenery of blacktop jungles, then this is the place for you. It is well maintained and quite peaceful.
