Confirmed from Egg Harbor Township Nature Reserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

If you are coming here thinking this is all a cement path looping around a nice little pond, you are going to be disappointed. This is a nature reserve, the paths are dirt, the climbs can be steep, and there are plenty of things to keep you watching where you put your feet.

This is a really nice spot to bring your dog or even just go to enjoy nature. There are plenty of trails. The main trail is one big circle with lots of scenery. Then u can “go down a level” by the water and walk around there. There is also side trails that stretch for awhile. Would definitely recommend checking it out.

Come here often enough to love it for a variety of reasons. It’s always clean and maintained well, different trails and areas to hike, jog, bike, etc. The township continues expanding and improving on it season by season too. Also, not a bad place to take your dog for a photo shoot!

★★★★★ — Brad , May 2023

Beautiful, expansive area. Trails are well planned, the variety of trees & nature selections are impressive. Cornucopia of trees, grasses, shrubs, water, textures. With hills and valleys all through the park, land height variation allows for scenic overlooks, changing points of view.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
