We attended the B.A.R.K. Ranger program at Eisenhower State Park and had a fantastic experience! It’s a fun and educational way to enjoy the park with your furry friend. The 1-mile loop hike was easy and perfect for dogs of all ages.
I recently took a day trip to Eisenhower State Park, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. The weather couldn’t have been better—clear skies, a light breeze, and that perfect temperature where you can be outside all day without feeling drained. It really brought out the best of the park.
This Texas State Park offers a lot of good hiking, which I appreciate most when visiting state parks. The fossils you can find are a fun bonus. I visited last month (December) and I was lucky enough that there was some pretty fall foliage still around. It was incredibly peaceful as well. The lake was also a huge plus.
Is a really nice park. The amenities were great. Rained on us the first night, which made the trails muddy. All in all. It was a great time.
