Confirmed from Elizabeth Kuffner Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Elizabeth Kuffner Nature Preserve

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (27 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Loved our nature walk! Saw many monarchs, lots of tree varieties, squirrels, new wooden bridge, woodpecker, mushrooms, animal holes, and listened to the breeze high in the trees. Such a magnificent place to visit!

★★★★★ — Jules , Sep 2020

It is a short trail and you can hear the highway from it. Saw a large red fox here though and the trails are well kept

★★★★☆ — Carter , Aug 2020

Decent short trail through the woods. The trail can be damp, but you can walk around the lower spots. The woods has a variety of trees from beech and pawpaw, to hackberry and all kinds of oak. The spring wildflowers are amazing! And it's also a great place for birding!

We had fun exploring this little piece of nature. It was great seeing all the different plant life. Small trail but it was a great time.

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
