Confirmed from Ellendale Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

My son practices football at this park. It has a trail, tennis courts, baseball, and football fields. It is a good size park. There is a small playground area next to the tennis courts. Parking leaves MUCH to be desired. The parking lot is tight.

The park has good trails for walking that have a nice gentle up and down to get good exercise. There's always lots of parking and the newly built bathrooms are nice (although rarely unlocked) The summer storms took out quite a few trees, so the foliage coverage is a little more bare on the pavilion side, but you can…

Been going to this park for a little over 20 years. Still a good spot to go to. Has 2 baseball/softball fields, restrooms, tennis courts, swings, slides, large covered area with grills, and walking trails.

★★★★☆ — Billy , Jun 2025

Ellendale Park is one of the best-kept secrets in Bartlett. The walking trail is clean, shaded, and perfect for a peaceful stroll or a brisk jog. The playground is great for kids — safe, spacious, and well-maintained.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
