Confirmed from Ellisville Parks & Recreation's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Expansive park offering a pool, tennis courts and a dog park.
What runners say about Ellisville Parks & Recreation
“Plenty of parking and clean facilities.”
“Beautiful park with great trails to walk a playground for the kids.”
I had a lot of fun climbing up the paved bike path that went through the woods for miles and miles. At places there were few dirt paths not as bad and my road bike handled very well. They also have tons of mountain bike trail that I will be testing next.
Rather impressive neighborhood park. Great walking trail with fitness stations, nice playground, open fields, dog park, tennis courts, frolf course, and pool with splash pad. Plenty of parking and clean facilities.
Beautiful park with great trails to walk a playground for the kids. A dog park for your best pal. I love walking the trails because they're never too crowded and there's several to choose from.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
